This week I had the absolute joy of giving a talk called From Stuck to Strong at a beautiful wellness boutique just outside my neighborhood. My goal? To remind women over 50 that it’s not too late, not even close.

You can feel confident, sexy, strong, and fully at home in your body, right now, not 20 pounds from now or after life slows down.

My 6 Pillars of Wellness have helped countless women overcome stubborn weight, reduce cravings, improve sleep, boost energy, and ease chronic aches and pains. But more than anything, it’s helped them reconnect with themselves. I created this talk to give women a place to start, a way to take one step toward reclaiming their health and joy in midlife and beyond.

I’ve been managing Hashimoto’s for over 30 years. Recently, despite all my efforts, my numbers worsened. My doctors didn’t seem concerned, they just offered more meds.

So I made a choice: I hired a functional medicine doctor.

Yes, it was expensive. But I had to ask, what’s the cost of not getting to the root of my health issues?

Waiting could mean more autoimmune trouble… or worse. And let’s be honest: money doesn’t mean much if your body is breaking down.

I want to keep doing what I love, biking with my love, chasing my granddaughter up the rock wall at the park, hiking, gardening, and coaching women through menopause and midlife wellness.

And that means investing in my health now.
